Friargate Meeting
Our meeting house is located in the centre of York near Clifford's Tower.
The meeting house is staffed and open throught the week (opening times below). There is comfortable seating and tea and coffee are available where visitors are welcome to sit and chat or read.
On Sundays, around 80 people meet for Quaker Worship at 10.30 am. We also have children's activities in different age groups.
There is also shorter worship on Wednesdays, in the Quiet Room.
During the week, the rooms in the building are used by many community groups for meetings and other activities.
The meeting house has wheelchair access, and a hearing loop.
Friargate Meeting now has a dedicated Local Meeting website.
